SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Synaptics Incorporated (NASDAQ: SYNA), the leading developer of human interface solutions, today announced its ClearPad® S3700 touchscreen controllers are featured on the new Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL smartphones. The Synaptics® S3700 family represents the company's latest flagship discrete touchscreen controllers for smartphones and tablets.

ClearPad S3700 solutions deliver high-performance multi-finger touch and innovative features such as gloved touch, grip and palm suppression, and low-power wake-up gestures. S3700 also integrates Synaptics' advanced analog touch-sensing circuitry and SignalClarity algorithms to address noise generated by displays that feature very high resolution, such as the Full HD and WQHD AMOLED displays used in the Google Pixel smartphones.

"Synaptics works closely with strategic smartphone ecosystem partners like Google in the development of next-generation consumer products. Together, we have enabled the industry's best touchscreen experience in the flagship Google Pixel smartphones," said Tim Vehling, vice president of marketing, Smart Displays Division, Synaptics.
