Synaptics MobileTouch(TM) Solution Selected for Pantech IM-U160 Mobile Phone
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan 22, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Synaptics Incorporated (Nasdaq: SYNA), a leading developer of interface solutions for mobile computing, communications and entertainment devices, today announced that Pantech is using Synaptics' MobileTouch(TM) technology in the IM-U160 mobile phone.
The Pantech IM-U160 mobile phone features capacitive buttons from Synaptics that allow users to navigate quickly and easily through the multimedia-on-demand (MOD) digital content and features such as broadcast television. In addition, Pantech implemented a unique touch key vibration effect that provides tactile feedback to the user when the capacitive button is touched.
